South African Airways and Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation Join Vodacom and Motorola in Search for New Soccer Star in Tanzania

ROK's Global Soccer Star competition announces huge Interest and further sponsorship in Tanzania

London and Dar es Salaam: 10th June 2008: ROK Entertainment Group (OTCBB: ROKE), the global mobile entertainment company, today announced the addition of two further sponsors to its football-talent search initiative, Global Soccer Star (GSS), which launched in Tanzania on the 21st May 2008.

South African Airways (SAA) and the Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) join GSS as the official airline and broadcast partner, respectively, for GSS Tanzania, with mobile operator Vodacom as headline sponsor and handset manufacturer Motorola as associate sponsor.

ROK's Global Soccer Star is designed to find real football talent in the developing world, initially in Tanzania, through using mobile phones as the primary technology to initiate and engage with aspiring players. In addition, GSS utilises WAP and web technologies including the dedicated website www.globalsoccerstar.com

"GSS in Tanzania has already generated massive levels of interest amongst young football players since we announced the initiative with Vodacom, Motorola and the Tanzanian Football Federation last month" said Robin Sullivan, COO of ROK Africa "and we're delighted to announce that SAA and TBC have joined us as co-sponsors."

Over the next 2 months, GSS Tanzania expects more than 20,000 football players will compete in a series of regional skills assessment days to be held across Tanzania over the next few weeks and through a 5 week residential camp for the 30 most talented players discovered, for a coveted 3 month football scholarship in Marbella later this year.

SAA are underwriting the costs of flights to operate GSS in Tanzania - to include First Class flight for the ultimate winner to Marbella in Spain - while TBC will be broadcasting 14 one hour TV shows over the next 3 months featuring the competition, to include the Tanzanian public voting for the best players.

Commenting on the developments, Laurence Alexander, Group CEO of ROK said "It's great to see sponsors recognizing the very exciting opportunities presented by combining mobile phones and the development of football as we undertake further GSS initiatives across Africa and internationally within the next 12 months."
